Cold Cruel World

I just returned from a 19-day photography quest to the head of College Fjord in Alaska's Prince William Sound. Although the trip was bit frustrating with over 10 days of rain, I had a couple clear nights to maybe see the aurora which I very much wanted to capture over that place. I took this panorama on the first night of the trip. I got treated to a brilliant display on the final day but at this moment I do not have those images processed yet. This display was quite weak but coupled with the moon it lit the scene in a magical way.
